Network Address ranges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Most people will be familiilar with the RFC 1918 standard for private network addressing.<br \/>\nReading through a lot of the RFC&#8217;s, they have now been superceeded with later versions.\u00a0 The most current appears to be <a href=\"https:\/\/tools.ietf.org\/html\/rfc6890\" target=\"_blank\">RFC6890<\/a> although badly formatted into tables.\u00a0\u00a0 The prior version <a href=\"https:\/\/tools.ietf.org\/html\/rfc5735\" target=\"_blank\">RFC5735<\/a> has a section 4 which is much more usable.<\/p>\n<pre>Address (198.51.100.0\/24 and 203.0.113.0\/24) along with one I have used often 192.0.2.0\/24.<br \/>\nIts amazing how ofter I have come accross organisations not taking these into account when planning
